The Finance Committee of our Board of Trustees regularly reviews the finances of the university including its audited financial statements and provides reports and recommendations to the entire board. Among our board members are several accountants and other financial and business professionals who are well-qualified to help oversee the university’s accounting practices.

Financial Reporting Information

IM体育平台 has an independent third-party accounting firm annually audit our financial statements. Additionally, the audited financial statements are presented to the Finance Committee by the independent auditor each year in a meeting wherein discussion and questions are addressed in advance of the audit being presented to the full Board of Trustees for final approval. IM体育平台 has celebrated being issued an unqualified opinion by our auditors for many years. An unqualified opinion is a “clean” auditor’s report. That is, the auditor concluded that the financial statements present fairly the results of the university’s operations and its financial position according to generally accepted accounting principles. Additionally, our audited financial statements are provided to our accrediting agency, the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges along with other institutional reporting.
