Hardin-Simmons University Human Performance Lab conducts research and offers services to the campus community. We are here to assist the IM体育试玩 faculty, staff, students, athletes and the surrounding community in their health, human performance, and fitness.

Bod Pod
Gold standard of measuring fat-free and fat mass. 5-10 minute, safe and non-invasive testing procedure.
RMR Testing
Metabolic test measuring oxygen consumption at rest using a VO2 mask, over the course of 20 minutes.
VO2 Testing
Cardiovascular fitness test using oxygen consumption during a standard Bruce protocol on the treadmill while wearing a mask over the mouth and nose.
Functional Movement Screening (FMS)
Move through a visual assessment with the HPL team to assess possible limitations in strength or range of motion.
