What is Stampede?

Stampede is our version of New Student Orientation — and it’s the ultimate way to kick off your college journey! Designed to help you connect with other new students and upperclassmen, Stampede gives you a head start in getting to know campus life before classes begin. It’s fun, welcoming, and a great first taste of the IM体育平台 experience—just the beginning of all the exciting moments ahead!

When is Stampede?

Stampede will take place Aug. 19–22, starting with Move-In Day on Wednesday, Aug. 19. More information about Move-In Day is coming soon!

What Happens at Stampede?

There’s something happening every day! Each new student will be placed in a group led by two upperclassmen, along with other incoming students. These groups will meet throughout the week, eat together, and experience all the activities we have planned.

Every evening ends with a big event you won’t want to miss. Here’s a sneak peek at what’s in store:

• Wednesday Night: Block Party – Food trucks, live music, games, and an IM体育平台 Rummage Sale

• Thursday Night: Gilbert Hunt – A late-night scavenger hunt across campus

• Friday Night: Lip Sync Battle and Paint Wars

• Saturday: Beanie Capping and Alumni Ice Cream Social
