Mr. Charles L. Hughes, visiting instructor of English, a Big Country native, graduated with his BA in English from McMurry University, where he frequently participated in theatre. After completing his MA at Hardin-Simmons, he attended Texas Tech University where he received his MFA in theatre with a concentration in playwriting.

Mr. Hughes has taught classes at both McMurry and Hardin-Simmons and enjoys offering playwriting workshops through the IM体育平台 theatre department.
