Dr. Jason King, associate professor of English and Writing, is an Abilene native and a Hardin-Simmons alumnus. He received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees from IM体育试玩, specializing in literature, and he completed his Ph.D. at Texas Christian University in Fort Worth, Texas, specializing in rhetoric and composition.

Dr. King regularly teaches World Literature, Writing as Discovery, Composition Theory, Advanced Grammar, Linguistics, Shakespeare, and Dystopian Literature, and he serves as the director of the M.A. in English program and the faculty sponsor for Sigma Tau Delta, the English Honor Society.
